At OC Real Estate, growth is never accidental. It is intentional, collaborative and driven by a shared commitment to raising the standard of real estate across South Australia.
That philosophy came to life at Drive 26, OC’s annual growth conference that brought the entire team together to reflect, align and focus on what comes next.
The name says it all. Drive ambition. Drive excellence. Drive a new standard.
In a property market defined by evolving client expectations, advancing technology and increasing complexity, success requires more than strong results. It requires clear thinking, continuous learning and a culture where people are empowered to improve every day.
Drive 26 was designed as a deliberate investment in the future of OC. A moment for the team to pause, share insight and strengthen the alignment that allows the business to continue delivering exceptional outcomes for clients.
A highlight of the conference was a keynote session from Tara Ness of REA Group, who presented The Science of Influencing. Her session explored behavioural psychology, ethical persuasion and the growing role of data intelligence in modern property decisions.
The message was clear. Influence is not simply a skill used in negotiation. It is a responsibility.
From conversations at the kitchen table to high-stakes negotiations, the way agents communicate shapes decisions that affect people’s lives. The session encouraged the OC team to combine strategic insight with empathy, ensuring every piece of advice remains transparent, informed and values led.
Executive Director and Co-Founder Alex Ouwens said the discussion reflected OC’s approach to client service.
“Our clients rely on us during significant life decisions. That responsibility requires more than market knowledge. It requires emotional intelligence, integrity and clear thinking. If we expect higher standards across our industry, we must hold ourselves to them first.”
While insight drives performance, culture sustains it.
Troy Mansell and Dr Adrian Medhurst from Benny Button led a Values in Action workshop focused on bringing OC’s values to life in everyday behaviours. The session reinforced how accountability, consistency and care shape both the team experience and the trust clients place in the business.
Executive Director and Co-Founder Nathan Casserly said the strength of the organisation will always come back to its people.
“We want to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients and create an environment where our people can grow. That means continually improving, listening and never becoming complacent.”
The conference concluded with the celebration of OC’s Quarterly Award winners, recognising individuals and teams who demonstrated professionalism, collaboration and service excellence across the business.
Drive 26 was more than a conference. It was a shared commitment to progress.
As expectations across Australia’s real estate landscape continue to rise, OC Real Estate remains focused on what matters most: innovation, integrity and people first leadership.
Open the door to what comes next.
